Performance was thoroughly checked by bench tests and developed to take full advantage of the characteristics of Gixxer250/SF250.We devised the piping and conducted repeated tests on the chassis dynamo to find the appropreate pipe length and diameter.The accelerator response has been improved, power increases from the commonly used low to medium speed range without spoiling the low speed range, and a significant power increase has been achieved in medium to high speed range.Jerky engine braking becomes smoother.The SS-Oval specification focuses on the mid-speed range while aiming for comfort in the practical range, and has an overwhelming power increase even in the high rotation range, making it a muffler that is fun for riding throughout the range.The low-pitched sound maintains the single-cylinder taste, but has a gentle sound.We aimed for a sound quality that suppresses the unpleasant plosive sound that occurs when you open the accelerator, so that you won't get tired while riding.The weight has been reduced by approximately 50%, making the motorcycle easier to ride.
